We have pleasure in providing an estimate for a Steel Framed Building
Length 18.288m (60’), Width 9.144m (30’), Eaves Height
3.962m (13’), Roof Pitch 15°
Steelwork
To supply for erection on prepared site and concrete foundations,
steel portal frame 4.572m (15’) centres with 203x133x25kg
UB stanchions and 178x102x19kg UB rafters. One gable frame to have
1 No 178x102x19kg UB gable post, the other gable frame to have
2 178x102x19kg UB gable posts forming the doorway. The roof includes
CHS rafter bracing to one end bay and knee bracing to eaves. All
steelwork to be hot dip galvanised.
Purlins
To supply 175x75 tanalised timber purlins bolted to frame at 1.525m
centres. Eaves beams to be 225x75 tanalised timber.
To 0.7mm Polyester coated steel sheets fixed in accordance with the
manufacturers recommendations. The ridge and verges to have polyester
coated metal flashings.
Roof Lights
Incorporate 8 No corrugated 2.40kg/m² GRP Profile 6 rooflights
in roof cladding positioned to suit customer’s requirements.
Rainwater Goods
Eaves gutter to be 160 on the side with 2 No 110mm Ø downpipes
to each side All gutters to be PVC with rubber sealed joints fixed
to eaves beams with PVC brackets at 1m intervals and PVC downpipes
fixed to stanchions.
End Cladding
Both gable ends to be clad down to 3.658m (12’) below eaves
level with 0.55mm polyester coated steel sheets fixed to 125x75 tanalised
timber sheeting rails.
Side Cladding
Both sides to be clad to be clad down to 3.658m (12’) below
eaves level with 0.55mm polyester coated steel sheets fixed to 125x75
tanalised timber sheeting rails.
Doors
1 no. 3.658m (12') x 3.658m (12') manual roller shutter door fitted
centrally to one gable end and including 1 no. personnel door frame
(No Door).
