Ref.   Agricultural Building to BS5502 Class II – (Level Fill – Grain Store)

We have pleasure in providing an estimate for a Steel Framed Building:
Length 24.384m (80`), Width 18.288m (60`), Eaves Height 6.096m (20`),
Roof Pitch15º.

Steelwork:
To supply for erection on prepared site and concrete foundations, steel portal frame 6.096m (20`) centres with 356 x 171 x 45 kg UB stanchions and 254 x 146 x 31 kg UB rafters.

One gable frame to have 2 no 356 x 171 x 45 kg UB intermediate sub stanchions. Other gable frame to have 3 no 356 x 171 x 45 kg UB intermediate sub stanchions, including CHS rafter and side bracing to one end bay, complete with CHS eaves ties.

All steelwork to be hot dipped galvanised.

Purlins:
To supply galvanised steel purlins bolted to frame at 1.375 m centres. Eaves beam to be 225 x 75 tanalised timber.

Roof Cladding:
To supply Eternit Profile 6R reinforced corrugated natural grey fibre cement sheets laid in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. Ridge to be close fitting. Verges to be finished with fibre cement barge boards. Also to include foam fillers.

Roof Lights:
Not included

Rainwater Goods:
Eaves to have Robinsons standard galvanised steel box gutter fixed externally to brackets welded onto stanchions, complete with 2no 110mm. Ø. PVC downpipes to each side, including mastic sealed joints.

End Cladding:
One gable end to be clad down to 3.200m (10`6”) below eaves level, other gable end to be clad own to 4.419m (14’6”) both with polyester coated box profile steel sheets on tanalised timber sheeting rails, complete with shedder flashing.

Side Cladding:
Both sides to be clad down to 3.200m (10`6”) below eaves level with polyester coated box profile steel sheets on tanalised timber sheeting rails, complete with shedder flashing.

Also to supply landing plates and corner angles for concrete panels

Concrete panels:
To supply 140mm thick pre-stressed concrete panels, to a height of 3.000m, to both sides and one end.  Other end to be a height of 2.000m.  Including all necessary bolts, plates and sealants. (Allowing for doorways.)

NB.Concrete panels are to be fitted to the inside face of the stanchions.
