Bruichladdich Phase 3 Powers On

Robinsons Scotland have used their specialist skills in manufacturing and construction to become one of the go-to contractors working on Distillery projects throughout the UK. Specialising in the Industry, they have been involved in several complicated builds where their knowledge and expertise has helped companies within the industry expand their operations for the future.

Robinsons Scotland were contracted by Robertson Central West to provide 360 tonnes of structural steelwork and 1150 concrete panels as cladding for Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay. Bruichladdich was looking to create a steel-framed bonded warehouse that was within a reasonable distance to their current operations on the Island. You can read all about how we were involved in Phase 2 of Bruichladdich here, and keep your eyes peeled for further updates on how phases 3 & 4 are going!

Educating Our Team On Emergency First Aid

We take Health & Safety, and the training of our employees, very seriously. We now have an on-site First Aid and Health & Safety Compliance Officer, Kelly, who can train and assess regulated courses. We're delighted to say that all those partaking in the most recent course passed with flying colours and that we'll be looking to train all our staff over the coming months on basic life support and safe use of defibrillators, now that we have one on-site!

We Attended a Rural Crime Prevention & Fire Safety Event

Some of our team attended a very informative Rural Crime Prevention & Fire Safety Event at the SRUC Barony College, held by NFU Scotland and Partners. Alongside farmers, students and agricultural businesses in the area, we worked our way through 4 workshops which you can read all about here.
